M-DAT is one of a suite of educational, research and production activities of the AZTEC (Art, Science, Technology) subject group that includes undergraduate programmes (such as B-DAT) and PhD programmes as part of the AZTEC research consortium. Together these programmes offer a creative community for trans-disciplinary practice in art and technology, aiming to define and establish new fields of practice and critical discourse through the creative and innovative application of digital technologies.
